I got a tonneau pro tri fold from AutoAnything , it was 289.99 originally with 20.75 off because I asked them if they could give me a better deal lol and a 50 rebate that came with it (Visa gift card) .

I think it looks ok , I'm not really thrilled that it looks like the edges are "turned up" kinda if you look at it on certain angles. It's got a little whoopty do where it folds on both sides . I did not put the gasket/weather stripping on yet thou on the tail gate area , I put the piece up by the cab thou .

Will the whoopty do and the turned up edges calm down as it sits and settles in with the summer heat?

Do I have to persuade them both down ?

Am I being to over critical ?

    Should I return it ?

Do you think it looks ok ?

Do you think it's too tight maybe lol?

    Poll? lol

It does look a bit "rippled" along the side, and pops up near the tailgate. Is it flexible along the edge to the point where you could bend it flat?

Yea your right , it doesn't quite lay flat . I did loosen it up allitle earlier , and I THINK I have less a bow in it now (causing the edges to bow up). I will have to post new pics tomorrow . The ripple is where it folds up and I did notice that when you unfold it down to cover the bed that the seal kinda gets folded under and caught up . You have you lift the cover up slightly to allow the seal back under the cover . I will post pics tomorrow in the daylight thanks for your reply and your opinion thou

you still got a great price, so if you can make it lay flat, you got a great deal. I have an Undercover tonneau cover, it's very lightweight, weathertight IMG_1517.jpg and locks over the tailgate, so my bed is secure. I can actually take it off by myself, it's that light - but it's easier with two people. It's a good match because I have black sand pearl paint on my '05, which matches pretty well. It's about 3 times the price you paid however... I think you may have just gotten an imperfect top - send them the pics and they should make it good.

When I got my tonneau cover it was the same way. Took a couple weeks to lay flat.

I have the Access tonneau. They have very clean straight edges and it lays perfectly flat the whole way back.

Not the best picture of the cover, but kinda gives you an idea.

Thanks for your reply , I ended up calling AutoAnything and I'm exchanging it . I told them my gripe and they are going to send me another one . I took it off and repackaged it back up .

I did take some more pics thou today , I thought maybe it would "lay down" better if I left it on a little bit but it didn't .

The trouble spot , is where it bends to fold up
    IMG_5648.jpg

This is the same side but the first fold point on the cover closest to the tail gate , I could live with that it not "bulging" out
    IMG_5649.jpg

This is the passenger side , same issue
    IMG_5650.jpg

Pass side first bend point closest to tail gate , it's ok
    IMG_5655.jpg

    Pass side bulge
    IMG_5654.jpg

I don't like it , it doesn't lay flat like the first bend point in the cover , I can deal with the material being creased/rinkled but not bulging and popping up am I being too critical ?

I don't think you're being too critical ... it looks like shit. Look at Extang signature series too ... well made and the company goes out of their way to make things right, not to mention a nice selection of different types. I like the lightweight foldable upgraded cloth cover.

Thank you , that's what my opinion was too . I expected it to lay flat , I mean it was cheap but I didn't think I'd get that lol I just didn't know if I was expecting too much . I mean this cover has 3000+ reviews on auto anything
