Wha tis the deal with ETC makes so much of a difference....

It's the "non Eco mode"...it should say "Balls"

Would rather Toyota added a Eco Mode button to the truck for those who are ok with the Gutless driving experience and want to get +1mpg. The rest of us can get the truck to stay in the power band and have some halfway decent throttle response without having to floor it.

Yes I have to use the ETC button to get decent power out of the truck this is my main complaint. When I first test drove it I felt maybe I accidentally got in the 4cylinder.

 

ok well i am glad its just not me.... Love the truck, but without ECT I dont love it as much.... I will prob end up doing the mod soon then...

 

Ya gotta mash the pedal... Get the RPMs up... Drive it like a 4 banger!..
