When my cat got sick, it was all I could think about. It consumed me for over a month before she finally got so bad that she couldn't make it any longer. Missing her is hard, but worrying about her was far worse.

I feel for you on that one. Exactly how it was and still is when alberts sister Maxie passes. It's still difficult for sure. Those cats will never be replaced.

It's a little hard to tell from that picture but that large rounded lump doesn't look like a normal cat stool to me. Have you asked your vet about this or taken the cat to be examined?

The reason I ask this is, my cat Bandit began leaving "deposits" that looked a lot like that at various places around the house and I ignored it for far too long. It turned out that she was constipated and she almost died from intestinal blockage before I got her to the vet. He had to anesthetize her and manually remove the blockage by squeezing her bowels externally, then use forceps and his fingers to pull out the hardened feces.

We put her on a high fiber diet to help with the constipation and that worked for awhile but when she started to get constipated again we did the complete opposite and put her on a low/no fiber diet with a daily dose of mineral oil as a laxative which worked much better.

Unfortunately, Bandit passed from heart failure last summer. I'm 64 and have been around cats all my life but Bandit was something special.

RIP old girl, I still miss you.

Anyone have suggestions on stopping a cat from singing the song of his people nonstop in the middle of the night? My girlfriend's carry does this sometimes and its seriously annoying...keeps us up all night at times. Its a small 1 bedroom apartment in the city so he's an indoor cat strictly and locking him another room doesn't do much (still really loud)

Yeah there's 2 of them actually, both fixed. The other one is sometimes loud but not nearly as bad as the other one.

Interesting, I have three girls and they mainly wake us op when they break something or two of them go at it in the middle of the night. I have not had this problem, luck for us.

Try a ticking clock or some light music in the bathroom. You can even try pheromone spray or a plugin to help relax the cats or a lavender scent air freshener. We found that sometimes it has helped when the two were fighting. They do not like each other much because both want the attention. Shortly after they were introduced one put its claw in the others eye. After a trip to the vet the cat was fine but we were worried about an infection. All worked out good. Cats are like girls, they may forgive you but they never forget so now they are constantly after each other. Just my opinion!

Now all you have to do is post a picture of them. Check out my video with me toying with my cat. It actually was cool. She is a nutcase. The slow motion video was fun.

    Fixed or not, doesn't matter.
    Male/female, doesn't matter.
    It's just going to happen.

We pay a decent mortgage for our cats to live in a nice house. We sleep several nights a week I our RV...
