I just realized I bought this truck and it has a diff drop installed. I want the damn things gone but I can't seem to figure out the size of the stock bolts if anybody could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

I've been searching for hours and have come up with m14x180 but I either don't know thread pitch or it is m14x1x80 but I can't find anything difinitive.

If it were me, I'd just take one of the bolts to Ace Hardware, match it up, and buy the bolt after subtracting the size of the spacer (probably an inch).

That's kinda what I planned on doing, the specs are a myth so I'm just gonna take the bolt and spacer to fastenal and have em order a couple

    This right here.

Pull a bolt n spacer, go to the hardware store and buy a bolt thats the spacer shorter of the same diameter n thread pitch.

Or cut the bolts you got subtracting the spacer.

That was my first idea but the thread doesn't go down far enough for a chop

Toytec website instructions for their diff drop kit says "Remove factory M14 bolts and nuts, supporting the front differential"... You got it right - you DO want grade 8 hardware.

I ran into this issue when installing my skid, it was for a Tacoma without diff drop. I took the spacer out and put it at the top of the frame so it wasnt spaced below and the hardware I had on hand would work untill I found a new bolt that was shorter. Unfortunately I couldn't tell you the right size/length.

Metric bolts don't come in grade 8. That is an imperial grade. Grade 10.9 is the metric equivalent or you could go to 12.9 which is stronger but doesn't have a standard equivalent.

I'd also thought about that but the spacer seemed to be close to whatever lines were right above the frame

They are tight, but I didn't see anything it was going to adversely affect, seeing as it was temporary and just doing normal dd stuff, not active wheeling for the short term.
