I have a scheduled oil change appointment and i'm at approx 10k miles. So far I have had no issues with my truck, but I was wanting to have them check other things that have been reported as well since they will have my truck.

If I remember correctly, these are items I should have them check
    1) Make sure transmission software is up to date
    2) Check rear diff bolt/leak (recall piece) - although my truck isn't on the list of recalls, but I figured I would have them check it
    3) Check bolt tightness on u-bolts (if i'm stating this correctly)

Is there anything else I am missing?

You have to phrase the questions or tasks to them the right way to get them to apply a software update. The updates are TSBs and technically the dealer will not apply them unless your truck is exhibiting the issues listed in the TSB symptoms.

If you are having issues, rough shifting, forward to reverse delay, and/or cruise control not lowering rpms then state that. This will get you the flash update.

just hitting them with a list of to do checks when you show up for a scheduled 2nd maintenance service they might give you some flack as far as the time it will take. i would contact them ahead and have them enter the things you want into your appointment record prior to showing up. so far what you have listed is minor as far as time to do but i still would get it on the record so when they print out your appointment it is in there.

Sorry, I should have stated that I haven't scheduled it yet, but when I call to schedule it I want to put these items on that list if necessary.

The only "transmission" thing I have ran into is that when I come to a stop, sometimes the truck will jerk forward a tad. Otherwise I haven't really noticed any of the other complaints.
