Did some ebay shopping to get a second set of key & fob made.

 

I think I like it without the beadlock ring better. Ive always been a fan of the all-black look on my trucks

 

Just ordered my @RelentlessFab weld on rock sliders with dimple fill plates!

 

The 4X4 SR5 woulda been my 1st choice, but I found a TRD Sport that was so clean I just couldn't pass it up.
I have to be the only person that prefers the base model over the TRD Sport, so I'm slowly converting it back to an SR5 or TRD Off Road. After I swap the rims out the hood, mirrors and door handles are next.

 

Oh... I see took a sec but not much of a difference. I never really noticed they before!

 

In do like base too! Imo best is color match front bumper and color match grill and offroad wheels. The rest I don't care lol

 

It is that little difference that makes them look better imo

 

Yeah I definitely like the off-road better!

Anyone know if they make headlights that don't have the yellow tint where the turn signals are?

 

The guy I bought them from still has to give them to me, along with the other center cap, but I'll definitely consider it.

Just changed out front + rear diff fluid and transfer case. Truck has 13,000 kms, so I figured why not get rid of the brake-in fluid in the gears. Try we're all really dark and I found some long metal shavings in the rear diff. (See pics) anyone ever get any big pieces like this? Is this normal?

 

Chemical Guys clay bar and wax today. Stuff works awesome. Note: I bought the clay bar and lube kit, I used the entire bottle of lube on the whole thing and only 1/3 of the clay. I'd recommend buying at least two bottles of lube for one clay bar.

 

If only it was MGM...I could use a grill surround and bumper.

 

A few other things I've added recently - Avid Off Road Bumper Guard, Bullet Proof Fabricating skid plate w/tow hook & shackle & Aero 2525XL muffler with chrome exhaust tip. Also installed a URD mass airflow sensor calibrator but no pics & haven't had a chance to try any tuning yet...
