Any recommendations for aftermarket remote start/ alarm installation? Considering the Compustar and thought I'd check in with you guys to see if there was a reputable local installer. Or if there is a shop I should avoid.

    Cheers!

Conrad nextvup Ballios if he's still there. I had a Compustar system installed in my wife's integra by him and came out very nice. That was years back though so idk if he's still there

Anyone in ABQ be able to meet up tomorrow sometime? Ive got a popping noise I got while in Moab. Trying to track it down and I think its coming from the steering rack but would like another opinion before I start replacing things. Thanks in advance.

CV's, just a thought... I had a front end popping noise last summer, replaced mine and the noise went away. It was specifically when I was turning, especially with suspension flex.

When I was under it my fiancé was turning the wheel for me. I could feel vibrations in the tie rods/rack, one of the bushings that holds the rack moves a bit. Hopefully not cvs, I replaced them about 6,000 miles ago.

Hopefully your right, that would be unfortunate to wreck your CV's that quickly. Moab tends to be unforgiving, I ran Top of the World last weekend and started hearing what I believe is a wheel bearing today on Fins n' Things.

We were on fins n things also when it started. We cut our trip short because I couldn't figure out where it was coming from and it was to hot to be doing that. :D. I'm just hoping someone can meet up and give a second look before I start buy a bunch of stuff I don't need.

There's a certain irony to being on Fins as well. I decided call it, and head back to Grand Junction because of my noise also. Good luck with finding the noise!:fingerscrossed:

Unfortunately Conrad passed a few years ago, and as far as I know, the shop is closed. He was a great guy who did good work. It's a shame to have lost him.

Check out the last few pages of my build thread for wiring. As well as my pictures.

VERY clean. Well done! Where are your switches going to go - in the console or the headliner?

Console near the shifter, console on an @Iggy panel, and in the upper headliner.

Well, it sure sucks getting old...

I was leaving work yesterday, the same way I have for 19 years, and when I walked between two parking barriers I tripped & fell on my side on the asphalt. Felt like an idiot, looked around to see if anyone had seen my ridiculous misadventure, but there was no one around. Yay. Nothing broke, just hurt my pride & dignity. Made me feel really old, though. :bananadead:
