Got the Pelfreybilt hidden winch mount. The bolt holes for the top plate and for the winch mount are both elongated. I'm concerned that plate or winch will slide forward under a load. What's yalls thoughts?

All my winch bumpers have slotted holes as well, it won't be an issue as long as the bolts are tight.
That being said, if you have room to mount the winch all the way forward on the slots do so.

IMG_0744.jpg IMG_0740.jpg So after doing some research and seeing another person on the forum welding his two plates together I decided to go a different route. Also the brackets to relocate the power steering cooler places it in a bad spot with the condenser. I went with the CBI Off Road model and I have to say not having to guess were to put the plate was a lot easier. The power steering relocation kit sucks on this one too. I think the best play long term for any hidden winch user is to either find an OE option or aftermarket cooler and moves it up top with the transcooler.
