I'm glad he got put in his place. They make a shit ton of money selling that crap so at least one deal he didn't get his way

Some of you must be youngsters. I've had a set of Craftsman SAE and Metric wrenches and sockets for 30 some years. I'm guessing I've used them equally over the years. There's nothing worse than NOT having the right tool for the job. I still hate metric.

I just wish one would become the world wide standard already. It would be nice to only have to buy one set of wrenches, one set of sockets etc, and those items would take up half as much space in your tool box. I love Murcia as much as the next guy but there is a practicality issue here.

I can remember when we all referred to engine size in cubic inches, such as 283, 351, 397, 409, 427, 454, 460 etc and not in liters. My 3.5 liter engine sound like I'm talking about a couple of bottles of Coca Cola.

Well we did try to switch to the metric system a number of years back and that didn't go too well. We're just too entrenched in the standard system that it would royally mess up a lot of things.

I do agree I wish they'd just pick one and go with it. I constantly trying to remember if a quart is more or less than a liter.

People will learn. Only three countries in the world use the standard system of measurement.

It's the little things in life. One of my favorites is sending shit like this to my U.K. Or euro friends. "Oh? Where's YOUR
    Space program, Kamil?"

Yes, but that's offset by the $94 million dollar Mars Climate Orbiter that crashed because of a mixup between metric and standard units.
