2002 Double Cab Tacoma

Hello,

I have a 2001 Tacoma with a 3" Toytech lift kit on it and I'm looking to get some new tires and possibly new wheels.

If I change the wheel and tire size, will it have a negative impact on the mechanics of the truck?

I'm looking to put 8"x16" or 8"x17 wheels on with 265/70/16(17) tires.

Ultimately I'm having a hard time deciding exactly what I want... so any advice and/or pictures showing off a first gen tacoma with specs is much appreciated!
