How long do you suppose the clay bars last? I've had one for over 10 years and it seems to still work good.

Yeah i have owned polished aluminum rims in the past and i used to take the wheels off and sit in the garage and clean them. It sucked, took about an hour per rim, and my back hurt when i was done! But they looked great! For about a week or so...

I have been thinking about taking off the ones i have now for a good deep cleaning. I also want to plastidip the lip of my rims white to see what it looks like. Its easy enough to remove if i dont like it.

Thanks man, it's coming along but like everyone here, I still have more planned.

Marine grade hardware uses quick release pins.

They are limb risers. They push limbs up off your truck and windshield.

This makes more sense! So these are more for the folks who do serious wheeling on tight trails to try and prevent unnecessary damage?

Figured I'd post an alternative to the led bulbs most seem to be running. I've had them for my license plate light for a while (which has a really nice cool white output), and decided to put some in the 3rd brake light as well. Not for brighter output but due to what I've seen halogens due to many housings/pigtails/ and lenses over the years. They are not open leds like almost are, and they work great IMO. O'Reillys sells em and I'm sure you can get em on the internet too.

These are good bulbs. I bought a couple of these, but for the rest, I used syvania's ZEVO brand that comes with a full lifetime warranty. I have them in my third brake light(need to take them out since I have a shell), my license plate lights, and I have some amber ones in my parking lights(the lights on the outer edge of your headlights). They've all been great so far, and if anyone is curious, Sylvania will back their warranty on these bulbs no questions asked. I'd highly recommend if looking for something that's going to last.

If you're going to replace your front or rear blinkers or brake lights (if you have the old 05-08 style red tail lights) I would not use the ZEVO brand.. I bought some of these for my brake lights: https://www.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-3157-White-Contains-Bulbs/dp/B01A77QW52 and had to take them back because they weren't bright enough (I couldn't see when the tail lights were on during the day, only the brake lights). I ended up getting a pair of these even though they don't have a lifetime warranty, they're much brighter and have served me well the past few months https://www.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-315...74630&sr=1-3&keywords=sylvania+3157+white+led

I used these at first but changed to the red because it caused my brake light to look faded...
