No way in hell would I get a roommate if I didn't have to. Never turns out right. I got a house and out of an apartment because that was even to close for me.

I would get a second job before that. I am going to look for some weekend side jobs for pure mod money

Weekend time is spent working and taking care of the house and adulting crap. You have a wife to help with that stuff, doing it all on your own is damn time consuming

I lived by myself (in my house) for almost 2 years before my now wife moved in with me. Its definitely tough at some times but its not worth it to me to deal with any more added stress of what a roommate would bring.

Yeah I mean there may be more stress, but honestly...it's pretty stressful right now. I never seem to have time to get it all done. Ever.

Well, I may have just come to a not so ideal but will work solution...

My mom lives in louisiana but is trying to find a job back in huntsville. I might let her live with me temporarily as a "roommate" till she gets her stuff together. Helps both of us out, because she'd sure take care of my house.

Not ideal since it's my mom...but let's face it...I'm not bringing women home...and she's also never lived anywhere longer than like 6 months so she won't be hard to get to move out haha

Hell no that won't happen. She knows that too. She's kinda in a tough situation and just needs help getting back on her feet here.

How many bedrooms you have? I have a kind of crazy SIL that has 2 boys 3 or 4 days a week (split custody) she lives in an apartment right now but if it were cheaper and about as much available room that might work.

She is a lil crazy ill repeat, but she has new boobs and she can cook pretty decent... And you have already slammed her with your big balls so it wouldnt be super awkward at first since the ice is already broken

got an email from USAA. they cut a check to the water mitigation company for $2500! contractor came out yesterday and was explaining the process. He said when he submits his estimate to the insurance company anything under $10k gets automatically approved but we would be definitely higher than that:eek:
