I was going to check out Tandem Auto. I hear so many good things about those guys I figured there must be a reason. I've installed lifts before on my old F150 but I I figured I'd get this one done and installed pro style this time.

I'll definitely be hitting all you guys up for hang times at one of the meet ups. Real talk. I appreciate you.

Tandem is talked about very highly. I know one member has his truck there right now. I'm too cheap to pay to install a lift when its not that hard to do. Next meet up for us is on the 25th, you should come on out.

*edit: One warning, coming to the meet ups will make you want to spend more money on mods!

I know exactly what you mean. I know I could do it. Slowly. But man have you been outside? It's real hot. Ha! I spend enough time in my shop already.
There's a very real chance I'll be swinging by the meetup to shop my next credit card debt.

Tried to mount my backup cam switch on the plastic under the steering wheel.. drilled hole... right where the metal support is so the switch won't fit... now need a new column cover! not my day today.

Anyone have a link to a Camera toggle switch (oem style) that'll fit in the switch gear on the left side?

Any information on that custom upper bracket? I would love to find someone I can pay to make me one of those to mount my incoming ARB compressor...

I used Rola rack which I was able to find locally for about $250.00
My buddy went with TracRac which was about $350.00
The Rola rack is a bit rough, the lines are not as clean, I even re-painted the pillars with industrial aluminum paint to make it look cleaner.
The TracRac is much nicer, but the rail mounts were difficult to install. So removing them and reinstalling them is something you don't want to do.
Rola Rack is a lot easier to remove but you will also see from the pictures. The bolts protrude out everywhere. There is a cover for the base which I didn't use, but I bought plastic nut caps on instead. So you will have to decide which will work for you and your budget.

We recent went kayaking and paddle boarding recently. My Rola rack did well with one kayak and one SUP on top. My buddy transported two kayaks on top and two inside the bed. Even with a 6 foot bed, they stuck out quite a bit. At the end of the day, the TracRac showed some deep scratched on top of the rack. The Rola rack did well with not a scratch. The Rola Racks has a rubber strip on top and bottom. The TracRac does not. Maybe that's why it got scratched.
As far a wind noise, I only heard wind noise once I exceed 80mph. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

What are those badges on the lower corners of the tailgate? Where did you get trd pro badges and the "limited" under the 4x4? Is that a alien under your tailgate?

How do you like your bug/rock guard? think you are getting any change in wind to keep bugs off your windshield?

The Slee bracket is something I made myself - if there is interest I can look into getting some produced as I work in a machine/sheet metal shop.

The radio mount is a piece of black lexan that fabricated to accept the Yeasu faceplate mount and fit into/over Qi charger area. - probably not feasible to produce in quantity as it required a lot of laminating and fitting to make work.

I don't know about a mass interest, but I would certainly pay a premium to fit the compressor in that same location and avoid my dual battery setup. With the current group buy for ARB compressors just finishing up, now might be a great time to drum up some interest.

Not sure how much it has really helped on the bugs but I was getting some chips in the front of the hood that I was more concerned with. I liked the looks of it as well. If I had the money I would have done a clear bra but it'll do for now.

Bro, these are way more solid. I use them on everything, and it prevents theft.
