Long story short, went to do my 30k service on both differentials and discovered the front diff was oily from what appeared to be a slow leak. Took it to the dealership, they claimed there was no leak (I knew it was a very slow leak, but their explanation of the oil being the result of someone not cleaning up well after a service didn't fly with me since NO ONE had done a front diff service on it...)

So this morning I grabbed the two quarts of Mobile 1 I had left and drained the front diff. Here's what came out - bottom of the blue tape should be 1.6 qt

I'm estimating 1 - 1.3qts there, significantly under the 1.6qt fill, and by the color, confirmed that there most certainly wasn't a recent service done on it either.

The diff will be just fine, no significant amount lost, but if you have a leak I would check around the gasket area and tighten any loose fasteners and then find another stealer willing to earn some money doing warranty work if the leaking should continue.

    Good luck!
    Cheers!
