Follow up on my question about Extended Warranty.
I went rhrough my old paper work on my 09 tacoma and found that I purchased my Extended Warranty from Troy Dietrich, I retrieved his phone number and took a chance that he might still be able to sell me a Premium Toyota warranty. I was glad that I called him as he provided me with these quotes.

    6yr/75k - $645.00 8yr/75k - -835.00 9yr/125k -1665.00 10yr/100k - 1360.00
    6yr/100k- 895.00 8yr/100k - 1145.00 10yr/125k - 1795.00
    7yr/75k - 715.00 8yr/125k - 1505.00
    7yr/100k - 1025.00 9yr 100k - 1265.00
    7yr/125k - 1250.00

I purchased the 7yr/125k Toyota Extra Care Platinum coverage with 0 deductible. $1250.00.
Don't know if I could have done better..

I just recently purchased a Toyota warranty over email with Brian Hyman @ Pederson Toyota which is in Colorado and I live in Pennsylvania so it's still done. Highly recommend Brian. Many other members have went with him.

I got a free lifetime warranty on the drivetrain when I bought mine last year, it was being offered for some "Toyota Promotional Days of Summer". You do get a 3yr/36,000 mile bumper to bumper and I think you also get a 6yr/60k warranty on the drivetrain with the vehicle and I think that if you have problems they will surface within those first few years and I have never bought an extended warranty on any vehicle. I think the factory warranty is more than sufficient. If you are financing the truck, then you are also financing the cost of the extended warranty thru the length of the loan and you will pay much more than what it is worth. IMO...save your money...
    Basic warranty: 36 months/36,000miles
    • Corrosion perforation warranty: 60 months/ unlimited distance
    • Maintenance warranty: 24 months/25,000miles
    • Powertrain warranty: 60 months/60,000miles
    • Roadside assistance coverage: 24 months/ unlimited distance

I can't speak about the laws in Florida but I can tell you what I purchased is the Toyota factory Platinum warranty. Also I shopped around to several out of state dealers and they were all willing to sell me the warranty.
