Tall ship from Peru pulled in today.

Those are sailors up in the rigging.

3rd gen content for post here? I drove my truck into work today, no problems, no leaks, no sluggish performance on the highway. Found it easily in the parking lot, QS certainly stands out.

Its a good truck and Peruvian sailors are some bad asses. They probably wish they could buy 3rd gens too.

Here's another ship, this one from either Chile or Argentina. These guys were not as crazy as the Peruvians.

My taco was about 150 feet away in the parking lot, differential is still dry and no recalls yet.

Probably why they're so crazy, no Tacomas.... temp was about 60 with a pretty good wind, I figure those guys were up there for at least 2 hrs during the transit in. Talk about some big balls.

They rode in up there in the rigging, tugs were bumping them up against the pier when I took the pic....

Then walked back to my 3rd gen, drove back to the office and parked, no problems in that transit either.

First time I've ever seen it and I've been working ships for 33 years.

Here's another angle to give some size of the ship.
    20170608_093021.jpg

And the Argentine or Chilean ship, I forget but she' a beauty.

    20170608_104639.jpg

Truck was still in the lot, problem free with 17k miles on it, up sized tires but no lift, no rubbing.

Could be.... or they just have enough crazy bastards onboard to put that many up.

I have to say, when the American sailors saw the Peruvians pull in with that giant flag and the rigging manned their mouths were hanging open in amazement. It was quite the entrance to say the least.

    Kudos to those guys.

Nice post man, those are some great looking ships. Btw you dont have to post about your truck to not get the thread deleted... but good laughs anyways.

The biggest sail ship i have ever been on was the duen for some highschool sailing thing. Pretty cool boat with a sweet story about it in the nazi war.

I Venezuela we don't get the diesel hilux..

Toyota in Venezuela does something that I have never seen somewhere else. They brand with "local" names their models like:

Toyota Land Cruiser: Toyota autana (famous mountain)
Toyota hilux sr5: Toyota hilux Kavak (another famous mountain)
Toyota fj 70's series: Toyota macho.. yes like you would say "macho"
