Hey guys!

So I figured I would just update this first post.

My wife and I started out renting Tepui tents from our small basement suite near Vancouver, BC in 2016. By the end of summer, 2017, we decided that we were going to put all of our savings and time into starting our own full on Overland Store! December 1, 2017 was our Grand Opening, and since then we have been here working as hard as we can and really excited to see where this new adventure takes us!!!!

We are just a young couple with a passion for off roading, hiking, biking, canoeing, camping, basically everything out doors! We are trying to use that passion to help get more people off of their couches and into the forests, mountains, and nature in general.

Our store is called Overland Outfitters. We are located at 5828 176 St, Surrey, BC, Canada. We would love it if you came by!

We are slowly building our inventory at our location, but we can get a lot more than just what we have on our website.

We also are continuing to rent out Tepui roof top tent's from our store location! We offer all of the sizes, from 2-4 person. I'll list the rental prices here:

Ayer (2 person) : $45/day
Kukenam (3 person) : $55/day
Autana (3 person + annex) : $60/day
Autana XL (4 person + annex) : $65/day

The prices do decrease the longer you rent! So if you go for a week or more, you'll see the price per day drop! We also rent out the regular gear, such as stoves and all of that.

We have a display tent set up in our shop, that you are free to climb in and check out as well as lots of other cool gear on display!

We've been really enjoying meeting and being a larger part of the Overland Community, and are super stoked to see where this goes!

On top of everything that we sell, we are also just starting up a custom metal fab shop in our store (steel or aluminum)! We will be offering bed racks, sliders, custom tube bumpers, and whatever other projects you have on your mind! We can install mods such as compressors, racks and suspension etc in our shop as well! We have a very competitive shop rate, so definitely ask us if you need anything for your next project!

I think that's basically it! We just really were tired of the lack of Overland gear and accessories available in Canada. Constantly ordering from the USA and having to cross the border to get it and everything.

Anyway, that's pretty well our story! Honk if you see us driving around!!!!!!

Unfortunately we don't have the racks as well... We don't have the capital or space to store so many different kinds! it seems like every vehicle requires a different design. Eventually I would like to be able to sell them though!

There was somebody on here that was making racks locally... Cruisin' Off road in Chilliwack or someone could be a good idea to talk to. They may have scratch 'n dents they'd be willing to rent out, or atleast you'd be able to guide people renting your tents to them to rent the racks as well.

Wow, thanks! Took a lot of sketches to come up with an idea that incorporated the themes I wanted without being super cliche or overly cluttered. I think it turned out pretty decent!

I will definitely look up Cruisin off road, and see if we can work something out! To be honest though, Tacoma's are a very small percentage of our customers! I wish it were more!

Thanks for the support man! Bummed I missed you at the shop! You definitely got me thinking about bigger stickers! What are your thoughts on one that goes on the top of the windshield? I could make the logo smaller so it would be more like:

I'll have to find somebody to make them that big for a reasonable price... Even our small ones are pricey

 

The windshield would be a great one if you could figure out the logo in the middle, some 4" circles with the logo in the middle and Overland Outfitters around the diameter would probably sell too if you could get a good price on them. Probably wouldn't be able to run one on my rig's windshield because of other stickers but maybe a ~40" for the rear of the canopy unless I can snag a one off like your windoor

 

We'll have to look into it! The ones for my truck were really expensive haha!
