    Hey all,

New to the forums here living in South Everett and just recently purchased my first Tacoma (previous 4runner owner). My brother and dad are both avid 4 runner enthusiasts, but I figured a truck would fit the group good for the trail camping/shooting trips we do.

My Tacoma is a 2011 TRD OR ~80k miles and it's already got a Icon stage 3, it came with 285/70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers (not a fan) and some Micky Thompson wheels with too much back spacing (in my opinion, throws too much road gunk down the side of the car).
(photo's from cle elum, 4runner in the back is my brothers.)

I just recently purchased some FJ 8 hole wheels to bring the back spacing back in but rather than swap on the Nitto's I'm thinking of buying some new tires. I'm torn between the Falken Wildpeak M/T's and the Maxxis Razr M/T's.

Does anyone have any experience with the Maxxis Razr M/T's? I know they are fairly new to the market but the few articles out there seem like a strong competitor in a road worthy M/T.

    Things on the soon list:
    -Sell the bed box
    -Sell the nerf bars
-Sell the wheels (maybe tires too)
    -Bed rack and RTT

    Longterm:
-pelfrybilt front bumper or winch mount (like this: Click)
    -high clearance rear bumper
    -rock sliders

What's wrong about the trail graps other than they're heavy?

I haven't even pulled the wheels off so I can't comment on weight, they actually seem to be pretty nice, I haven't had any slipping on wet roads which has surprised me. I'd prefer something that is a little less aggressive and more fuel efficient. However since I haven't had the truck on any other tire I'm not sure how successful I'll be on the fuel efficiency spectrum.
