    IMG_0133.jpg IMG_0130.jpg Hey what's up...

I received my Bakflip Revolver X2 on the 6th of June. I ordered it on 29 May. I was excited and could not wait to put it on because of the internet photos and videos I referenced for the stated bed cover. I was going to do a complete write up for the product, but I became disappointed as soon as I noticed one of the bed rails was damaged.

    Long story short...

The customer service people for autocustoms were really nice and profession and were going to send me a replacement rail. They also gave me permission to fix the damage rail and use it temporarily until the new one arrived. So I did and became more unsatisfied with the product.

    Once again...

For almost a $1000 the craftsmanship was not there... The quality of the top I received, in my opinion, resembled a bag of chewed up cat turds. The seals were uneven and did not seal along the bed rails well and they looked cheap. I was completely unhappy with the product for a few reasons.. the vinyl would flap while driving, both the bulkhead and tailgate ends were higher than the center, which, more than likely would pool water, and I saw every imperfection.. mostly the "I don't give a shit fabrication." However, the box was in excellent condition when I received it! But that tells me that the quality inspection team paid no attention to the parts they packed.

    Needless to say...

I returned the Bakflip Revolver X2 today and I would definitely be hesitant to order another Bakflip product.

    My two cents...

    Thanks

    Sorry for no install pics.

Bad luck. I got the same cover 6 months ago with no issues.

Best tonneau out there if you ask me.

I have the Bak Revolver X2 installed on my 2017 DCSB. I am happy with the quality, and got it because I liked how you could still see out the back window, when it was rolled up, unlike a trifold, which blocks your view when fully open. The only thing I do not really care for is that the vinyl cover is a dirt magnet.

If you plan to look at other bed covers, just be aware that Undercover, Bak, Extang, Truxedo, Retrax are all owned by the same parent company - so not sure if any of these will address your quality concerns.
