when i fuel my vehicles the final amount has to end in either $-.50 or $-.00 (easier to do up here with litres vs gallons)

when i cut my grass there can't be any single blade standing out (i've gone back and clipped by hand or with scissors if a patch is missed)

I have to point out any toyota pickup I see (or any car I think is cool).

My wife now says "ding ding ding" when I do it. Like I'm winning something...

I've started doing it with Tacomas, which now that I own one I realize just how many there are around here. :anonymous:

I lift my feet up when driving over a cattle guard. And if I forget to lift I have to cross my feet and lift over the next one to de-gooch myself.

No hats on the bed. Ever. You can wear a hat and be on the bed, but the hat itself cannot be placed on the bed. This one wigs me out. My wife and daughter constantly taunt me on this one.

I can't watch a commercial airliner fly across the sky. I get a nervous feeling that I may see it blow up. It's really odd, as I have zero other issues with fear of flying, fear of terrorism, or anything else like that.

I have to straighten pictures or mirrors hanging on walls. Frequently with a level......if it looks like it's the slightest bit off i can't walk by it. Even in motel rooms...friend's houses....Pretty much anywhere I see it.

When I was in elementary school I used to have anxiety about being the last person in my house, street, town, state... to fall asleep.

So much anxiety that it would keep me up which gave me more anxiety, vicious cycle.

I got over it, thankfully, by just reading until I fell asleep. Now I'm an avid reader!

All the ac vents in my truck have to be facing the same way. If my fiancé turns one a certain way or closes one it starts to aggravate me. Now we take separate cars. I don't like stuff in my truck that didn't come with it from the factory, like fries under the seat or change in the cup holders or old mail in the glove box. The only thing that stays in there that didn't come with it is the little .380 that is in a holster in the door panel cup holder. Oh and another one, when I see somebody trying to fix a car and they have no idea what they are doing I just go over there and do it myself. It's not that I want to help the guy out. I do it for the car. Also I have to sleep with a fan on.

Almost forgot about this one...I have to as well. I can't sleep in a room if it's dead silent, I need the constant hum or drone of a fan, AC or heater.

All dials have to be turned to a prime number. Can only eat the heels and crust of bread. Hold M&Ms in my hand for hours hoping they will melt.

Ok, ok...seriously. I avoid touching any public door handle (goes triple for restrooms), will use the bottom of my shirt if necessary. But sometimes you just have to touch them. In the public restroom, wash hands, use the paper towel to open door, toss towel towards garbage can as door closes. Air dryer? Then it's the shirt.

Same with shopping carts, you never know. I'm noticing lots of sanitizer wipe dispensers in stores these days.
But is that really a phobia, or just common sense?

Also on board with using a glass or utensils after someone. You want a bite of my dessert? You're going to stick that fork you've been tongueing into it? It's all yours.
Can French kiss my wife, but can't drink out of her glass. Unless we were in the desert dying of thirst and only one canteen, then ok.

    So, nothing life altering.

Ooops, ditto the fan, or air cleaner in my case.

the boiling keys part is what gets me, that is odd but then again I am sure I have some odd habits. I know that one quirk is I don't like to decide on what to eat so I usually let my waiter just choose something for me as long as it not ham.

I'm sure it's tinnitus. Been flying planes since I was 11 years old. Everybody says I have hearing problems. I'm still in denial about it

I'm really surprised it took 323 posts for somebody to say anything about the booking keys thing. I couldn't do the letting the waiter choose my meal, as I have the same eating habits as an 8 year old

If my lights are on and I park my car I will turn around every .03 seconds until they go off. If they don't go off by the time I go inside or get to where im going ill go out of my way to find a place where I can see that my lights are off.
