My buddy down here in Red Oak his cousin(i think its his cousin) is John Andrade, goes by "the Cutty", so we met most of the OKC guys when they were at Ennis last year. Very chill guys, not like what you see on TV at all. Another buddy also runs the true street stuff in a Ford Fairmont wagon.

There is a reason its called TX2K... because if you dont have 2k HP you aint shit.

Corvette buddy of mine went down this year. he makes 1200 at the wheel on race gas. He didnt qualify during the roll racing prelim rounds. He was like 5mph off of the slowest guy. To make up 5mph he would probably need 200 more whp. The guy that won the class he was in was like 15+mph faster than him, which would take 600-700 more whp.

I put some on my truck last week on an impulse buy. I used some neodymium magnets so I can move them around. Still trying to figure out the best placement but currently on the frame.

Are you wanting your truck to look like a work truck?

Not bad, I think I am going to mount mine up in the wheel well more than likely. Front will be easy, the rear is going to take some time to figure out the best way to mount those.

No, but that AluCab would be pretty nice for camping, can hold a RTT which my SnugTop cannot right now, would be easier running wires for camp lighting and such, and the additional cabinets you can add to the side doors would be nice to hold gear and camp stuff.

I was going to put them in the wheel wells but was hoping I'd get more usable light under the frame. Didn't really care to light up my 5100 Billies. Skid plate blocks some of the light though.

@Silverspool are you taking your truck out to BP and parking or are you hitching a ride with your buddy all the way out there? Is there a meet up point or is the TX4WD group just meeting at the park at a set time?

Will have to play around more with mounting them I guess to see where I really want to end up putting them.

Saw this guy at jambo. It def did not look like a work truck, he has a tent from the same company that goes on top. That is the benefit of aluminum over fiberglass

yep, I could pull it off, would also let me get a RTT to put on the shell as well.

Apparently only $175 to ship it to me...

I have a 18v drill, two batteries, and charger.

Another 18v seems the natural way to go, but I'm open minded.

I'm not rushed, let me know what the 4pc deal is on Monday?
Is the 2pc the drill & driver, with the free recip?

I'll snap a pic of our flyer and put it on here. I was off today and my remote access was jacked up for some reason. The 2 kit is a brushless hammer drill and impact with 5ah batts. The free recip is brushed however
