Are the leaf springs and rear shocks side specific like the coilovers are?

So I just upgraded my base model single cab to '16 TRD off road leaf springs and rear shocks. My original leaf had white and yellow markings. White on driver's side and yellow on passenger. I attempted to match that up with the new ones, but my e-brake cable bracket did not screw into the same mount, the mount was threaded on the opposite side of the spring. So in order to maintain my e-brake mount, I needed to switch driver and passenger leafs.

I'm concerned that the driver's side is beefier to support driver and fuel tank, etc. Not scientifically, I measured 21.25 on driver and 22.25 on passenger. That's with my old suspension and tools in the bed so it's a little saggy.

It could just be that more weight was on the driver's side...

I plan on tackling the front tomorrow. How do I tell what side is driver on the coilovers? I'm also going to take all weight out and re measure on a truly flat surface.

'17 Sport. My driver side leafs are yellow and passenger side white. Maybe they switched colors from the second gen.

    Excellent. Thank you!

Does anyone know about the front? One has blue and red dots, the other green and red dots.

    Edit: found it.

I read that the rear shocks are also different for driver passenger... My Part numbers are identical for both rear shocks.

    What gives?
