Amp and sub install

Wanting to install amp and sub in my 17 Tacoma Sr5. Is there any diagrams out there to show how? Which wires behind radio? Am going to run front speakers and sub off amp. Wanting to spend around 500-700- Any sub reccomendations? Thanks. Cartoys wants about 1500. Ouch

 

yeah my recommendation would be to stay away from cartoys, other than using their rooms to compare speakers.

Image dynamics makes a pretty good sub, i personally have 2 sundown sd3 10s and love them. However people seem to experience separation from the cone and surround on them sometimes, but they are awesome subs, $200 per sub, 500w RMS, and can run well off just 300w RMS due to its soft suspension.

Alpine type R speakers are nice, hertz are nice, focals are nice. I have hybrid audios in my doors, they have over 130 world championships with their speakers so that is what i went with, not very friendly to your pocket book though.

You cant get any of the prefab boxes on the web that fit the 05-15 year model trucks, you will need to get a custom box made, or there maybe a few prefab boxes specific for 16+ models. You will also need door speaker adapters to mount your after market speakers.

Also your headunit will still limit the performance of your speakers. The factory settings limit the bass output as the volume gets louder to prevent the stock speakers from blowing due to all the bass. An aftermarket unit will not limit such things and will allow for a better sound.
