Install a winch without a big heavy bumper, and keep the stock appearance of your beautiful Taco.

As new, ordered in raw steel. Very stout 1/4" plate construction.


Mounting plate, support brackets, and hardware included. Includes 10 extra Grade 8 M10 x 1.25 flange nuts for a proper install. WYSIWYG.

I sanded off the light rust from storage and gave it 3 coats of Krylon Industrial Rust Tough DOM paint (satin black).

Their website says 05-15 I believe? You sure this only fits 12-15??

I have one installed on my truck, I love it, was fairly easy to install.

For the little black grill surround I cut mine differently, I cut out the grill itself not the plastic surround to keep more of a stock appearance. (and if you mess it up when cutting it's available for like 40 bucks online)

 

have no idea what you're talking about there but it looks good and exactly how it's designed to be installed by Pelfreybilt

 

The paper instructions from pelfreybilt want you to cut the plastic surround that goes over the winch. at least they did when I got mine. Which I didn't like because you could see the holes that the grill surround thing would snap into.

 

Two questions:

1) does one have to divorce the solenoid?

2) are the backing plates compatible with sway bar relocation brackets and shock reservoir mounts?

 

As far as divorcing the solenoid, I did not have to on mine.

Im not smart enough to answer your second question.

 

I've seen it installed with the SWRB`s.

I can't speak to the reservoir mounts, but aren't those up in the wheel well? ... no where near the front end.
