Hey all - I've currently got an 8" Sound Ordinance (https://www.crutchfield.com/S-ljojmhEaSKg/p_777B8PTD/Sound-Ordnance-B-8PTD.html) powered sub under my drivers seat in my truck. Is there anything stopping me using a coax splitter and installing a second one under my passenger seat? I really can't afford to give up any space in my access cab for a nice sub box, so I just wanted to see if there's any drawbacks to going this route.

    Thanks

Nope, I've done it in my last Tacoma with those same under seat subs. I have the setup ready to go into my current one. It is better if you have a higher voltage pre-amp out that come on the nicer head units than the lower voltage pre-amps of the entry level units.
