Does anyone have any feedback on patching this tire?

The associate at sears told me this couldn't be patched.

    What are your thoughts?

Yes its repairable, just either use a patch or the knifing that has a plug and patch that gets pulled through from the inside. Should last the life of the tire...

Should easily be patchable. Sears just wants to sell you new tires. I've never had a plug fail as long as it was properly prepared.
