Good to see she's been cleaned up. You swapped out the stock radio for a touchscreen though. Can you provide any info on that? Cost, difficulty, worth it in the end?

Well, it's been a self induced nightmare in some ways but I'll call it many plot twists to keep it more upbeat. My first thinking was I just wanted navigation so that unit is only of the low cost Win CE units, normally on Amazon for $155 and I'm impressed with it but bought it on Amazon deals for $125 and it came with no GPS card, they gave me a $25 discount but even for $100 it was too much to deal with and the maps were outdated if I did buy a card.

So I went with a Joying next, normally $299 on Amazon but I found one on Amazon deals for $199, seemed a fine unit but I didn't use it long, they sent me a unit that was like 4 models lower that I bought. They did give me a $50 account credit for all the troubles.

So now I have a Eonon Android unit waiting to go in and first impressions are that it's excellent, much better packaging, comes with screen protectors and I'm impressed out of the box but it isn't in yet. I contacted them via eBay where the unit was $170 something and they said $162 direct so that's what I did. In all I'll be into the upgrade for about $210 and I will let you know how well it does, I may add a fan if it doesn't like the hot desert temps and I'm sure I'll root and custom rom it if there is one.

Nothing was hard to do, just doing it three times sucked! The wheel controls have works on all units without any type of adapter. I did have to buy the thing for the JBL system to use the stock amp but all works fine and sounds great.
