I have a full set of Kings, fronts with 650 lbs springs,TC uca and Deavers J66 to install , they been sitting in my garage for about a month due to the lack of free time to install them. The plan was to run 285/70/17 and call it a day but I'm kind of debating going to 285/75/17's instead. I know a lot of people claim that the lost of power by going to 33's is hardly noticeable but experience tells me thats BS and I'm probably going to end up re gearing to restore the lost power and at that point will probably go with a bigger tire anyways . I'm trying to avoid doing things twice. What's the minimum lift required to run 34's , what body parts need to be modified and which suspension parts will you change from the ones I already have? I drive a 6 speed manual
Thanks in advance for any advice

Wheel size and offset will determine what will need to be trimmed and how much.

Your wheels are/will probably be around 4"-4.5" of backspacing. You'll have to do some trimming but 3" in the front should be fine. Will probably rub if you hit a bump in reverse but small price to pay for bigger tires :D

    Method 17x8.5 4.5 backspacing I believe with 285/75/17

34's might be a better match for 4:88's on a 6 speed manual

Lift doesn't help clear tires unless you limit the uptravel
