I have a pretty simple question I am hoping someone can answer.

I have a '16 TRD OR Auto and it seems at about 3500 RPM's at full throttle the truck takes off like a rocket ship (maybe a slow rocket). There is a definite change in the power right around that RPM range and I am wondering if that's VVTI kicking in, or is it just the sweet spot for this trucks powerband?

That's the point where direct injection takes over and the Atkinson Cycle ceases to rob you of your truck's performance capabilities.
