Happy bday boys!!! Just had my expresso at the cafe, now Off to swim in the hot springs and waterfall today. This trip has been amazing so far , i highly recomend anybody to go to sao miguel if u are Portuguese or not..I even scored some portuguese hash last night wich just made the night life sooo much cooler lol. Hers a view from cete cidades were he hiked yesterday.

Didn't sleep at all last night until probably 2AM or so. Too hot. Finally cooled off enough that I was able to fall asleep, and the next thing I know the alarm is going off in my ear.

I'm assuming this differs considerably from corned beef hash, lol.

 

LOL. I can confirm that it does differ, considerably.

 

Thanks everybody. Going to the hospital seemed over the top to my wife but seeing how bad my hearing is to start with I take it very serious!

Happy belated birthday Rob and Erik!

Spent yesterday outside working on the truck, and then helping my girlfriend's sister pick up a china cabinet off craigslist. Ended up sun burnt and sweaty, but it was a good day! Finally got some kind of thin-lipped satoshi on the truck with a mostly color matched surround. The clear coat wasn't glossy enough, so I may have to take it back off and hit it with another kind.

 

I know which one I would choose... and I REALLY like corned beef hash

Since yesterday was the hottest day of the year so far, I thought it'd be a good day to clear out a wood lot on the lower end of the property.
Just kidding. I did it yesterday because it was my only day off, lol. I'm going to be cleaning out some damaged/diseased trees on the lower end of our lot this summer, and I wanted an access point from the road and a staging area where I could work the trees up for firewood. It involved a LOT of rock removal and backdragging/filling holes with the bucket, but also quite a lot of digging by hand and brush grubbing once I got out closer to the road. I must have drank two gallons of water and I think I only peed once, haha!

 

I'll take corned beef hash any day. The other hash isn't my cup-o-tea

 

I'm in the same boat. The only drugs I do are alcohol and caffeine, lol.

 

Alcohol, Caffeine, and Nicotine for me.

 

Yeah, I don't smoke. Other than the occasional cigar, of course.

 

That's awesome. Were you able to get a good view of the blue side vs the green? On the right day it stands out big time.

Hopefully you have a day set aside to go to Furnas and do a boiled dinner in the pits. That's definitely a must do
