Too poor to list anything interesting.
I forgot to post I received mine on Friday. I'll try to post some pics of it this weekend when I'm prepping my ribs.

Came home yesterday to the DMV rejecting my license plate application which was some major BS. But also had a 2 pounds of rub so all was made mostly better. Buying the rest of my parts to make my UDS today after work and hopefully will be able to get everything put together and painted and give it the first test fire tomorrow! Might have to just use some rub on the regular grill tonight though.

Any suggestions on what to keep the rub in after opening the vacuum packaging?

Anything with a seal will do you just fine. I keep mine in mason jars or tupperware, mostly.

I just used an old thing of parmesan, dumped what was left into a ziplock and cleaned and dried it first. I like these because they have the big opening and good sized holes on the shaker opening.

I also use a mason jar, keep it sealed up, and I have a second lid insert with holes so I can use it as a shaker as well.

Buy an excess of meat and use it all in one fell swoop. That way you don't have to worry about resealing.

Glad you enjoyed the rub! Good looking food and cute kid.

I'll respect the privacy of your family, so I wouldn't take a picture of your kid for our purposes, but if you don't mind, I may use the other pics.

    I appreciate the review.

Recieved the PitFaced rub and couldn't wait to try it !
Wife said we have to finish up some food already on the menu and I agreed , although I still want some , try it out . So , after dipping my finger in the bag and loving the flavor I figured I'd give an old recipe a new twist , Pretzels !!

Take a family sized bag of sourdough pretzels , the nice fat ones.
Break the pretzels into bite sized pieces.
Get 1 cup of vegetable oil in a small bowl.
Put 2 big tablespoons of Pitfaced into the oil.
    Whisk it up :stirthepot:
Put the pretzel pieces back in the bag , and pour the oil and rub on top.
Move the bag around to coat the pretzels.
    Preheat oven to 350*
Place pretzels on cookie sheet and bake for 20 min.
Try to "Just Eat One Pretzel"
Haha ..... Never gonna happen !!! Eat em All !!

    Great Rub

This stuff sounds like it'd be good sprinkled on peach halves in the smoker.

Hell of a job! I'm gonna need to borrow those pictures, too ;).

If pressed, my favorite use is probably ribs, but thick cut pork chops are a really close second. That is awesome.
