    hello,

I'm new to this fourm and had a few questions on what products to look for.

ive just purchased a Tan 2016 Tacoma SR5, and am looking into blacking out the emblems.

ive seen "overlay kits" for 99$, and many youtube videos for just plasti dipping them.
does any one see an advantage to paying the 99$ for overlays instead of just painting the originals for 10$? also, I have a plastic "chrome" bumper, can this be painted with bed liner?

Rear tailgate lettering, I see vynal decals for 20$ a set, and "raised abs plastic" lettering for 50$ each, any opinions on witch way to go for this?

last question is seat covers.........id like to get a front and rear set, everything I see is 400$+, and suggestions on where to look for a cheaper set that is still decent quality?

these are pretty basic questions I appreciate any help, cant wait to get this thing the way I want it

Emblems: either remove and paint or cover your truck with tape and paint.

Tailgate letters: black vinyl for cheap. A user on here sells them.

Seat covers: you get what you pay for. I have Cover King seat covers. If you have a Costco membership they run sales on them for $100-200 off. They're equivalent to Wet Okoles in my opinion and a few others who have sat in my truck.

Tailgate letters: I started out with the vinyl stickers but wasn't happy with the look so I got the raised letters by Tufskinz.

Do you want leather seats or wetsuit material seats? Klazzio for leather, cover king for wetsuit

Then pass on the klazzios. Look at cover king. It's the neoprene/wetsuit material. Wet Okole is the other company but way more expensive. I think I paid about $350 for front and rear seats with cover king and they're just as good as wet okole. I got mine for the same reason. I surf (used to) a lot and they're easy to clean. And you don't get that leather burn when sitting down on a hot day
