I am used to the 2ns generation that had the nice mudguards to prevent the rock chips on the sides when driving. I noticed the 2016-2017 models do not have them. Are there mudguard available? Any solutions? Clear bra? Etc? Are the mudguards factory ones or aftermarkets? Any pics from other members?

A bit confused. You've posted a photo of a 3rd gen OR model that has mudguards no? Or is what you're referring to something else?

Or are mudguards different to mudflaps?

Yes see the Link under my signature for Plasticolor. They are the cheapest and most effective option that I've found, especially if you plan to offroad.

OEM brand on ebay for about $65, no name copies for $39 and weather tech for about $80...etc.

I got the weather tech but I spent a lot on them. Then they ripped off in the mud when it was snowing and slushy and I hit a hole on a farmroad.
