Just installed the quick lift in the front on my 1st gen and very happy with them. A full 2.5" lift right out of the box and rides better already even though these are fresh springs.

07-Rancho quicklift plus, RS9000 shocks, Wheelers AAL HD progressive kit, smittybuilt N-Fab nerf steps. 09- Bone Stock one owner... Won't be stock long!
I installed the rancho quicklifts and rs9000s on my 07. Added a wheelers HDAAL for the rear. with alignment spent less than $700. I was pleased with the ride which for me was better than the beat stock shocks. Planning the same lift for my 09.

I had the 1st Rancho 4" lift kit for Dodge in the western u.s. , this was 1976 & they were a new company, I wouldn't ever say it was shit because it wasn't , def. better than stock, I'd say you'd be ok with it, besides anything is better than blocks or spacers for lift...

I installed Ranch 9000 on both ends last week. Simple to install, rides far better than stock with 210000 miles. Gained 1 3/4 as advertised on front. No problem so far but still new. Set on 4 front 3 rear. Far cheaper to buy than 5100 for me in Canada.

Oh I'm sure they've progressed since then, at that time the only other option was Rough Country (they had just started as well)

You lower the setting on stiffness, how they ride. There is no setting to raise or lower the ride height.

I'm just going to add to this versus starting a new thread and that way it's here if anybody else needs it. I need to do my front hubs and bearing and pads anyway so while I'm in there I figured I'd take care of the shocks since I've been riding around on the factory setup for 147,000 miles with an ARB bumper strapped on.

I literally HATE when responses become cut and paste style, complete speculation with zero fact. People say the Rancho Quicklift rides way better than stock, then people say they're trash compared to the OME and 5100s. What does this mean, it makes zero sense to me! As a result I went with Rancho as I'd rather go with an underdog than be another fanboy in a sea of people barking 5100s and not actually telling me why other than they ride smoother than the Ranchos they had on their 88 Bronco.

Amazon had some warehouse deals so I will be getting the entire kit plus u-bolts and an AAL for $470 shipped. I got the hubs and bearings on there for $129 and some pads for like $25 so all said and done $625 and I'm set for awhile. I'm going to use the savings to buy an ENGO 9,000 pound which and well yeah, there you have it. Will report back with a few photos of install when done.

I ended up doing 5100s and Dakar’s not bad but the dakars are so squeaky which is super annoying

Rancho Quick lift. Wheelers Off Road Progressive AAL with Rancho RS9000's, braided brake lines & clutch line. BFG 32x11.50 15 All Terrain Tires Deck Plate Mod. Flowmaster 60 series muffler and Marlin Crawler Short Throw Shifter.
I have the Quicklifts on my 1st gen and the Wheelers Progressive AAL and Rancho 5000 in the rear. So far so good. I like them, I had run Rancho's on my truck in the past with stock height suspension and have had no problems with them. I have the fronts set to 4 to match the 5000's in the rear and they feel nice. Just my .02.

UPDATE: here is a before picture before the Rancho Quicklifts and AAL.

Okay done! Just spent 300 miles round trip going up to Phoenix and I'm very happy with these so far, zero complaints, set to 5 they give a nice ride without being too soft or firm.

Looks good TucsonAZ, the rear lift definitely brought it up where it should be. Did you need new UCA's to get it aligned? Any driveline vibrations at all? I ask because I'm still on the fence about these or Billies. I actually only want a 2-2.5 lift on front and from all I've read, the Ranchos seem to give that after all has settled... Glad you like it, that's all that matters!

I don't think the UCAs are needed for such a small lift and I don't think an alignment really is either but my tires are old anyway and I only drive about 7,500 miles per year so if I see odd wear patterns on the times or anything I will get it taken care of. No vibration, no issues, no notable differences from stock with them set on 5 so all around I'm super happy with these. With them on the softest setting they're softer than stock but I just keep them set at 5 for now but may experiment with that later.

I just installed the quick lift ranchos on my 14 Taco. I haven’t changed the rear yet so I’m riding around with the “Carolina Squat”, which I despise!!! I’m putting the first 300 miles so it can settle. Then I will measure the back and see what it needs in comparison. I was scared to buy both at the same time with the heavy off-road bumper on front. I will be ordering the Rancho shocks and aal for the rear in another 100 miles. My wheels and tires will be here tomorrow also!!!! I’m going to take it to get an alignment when I put the new tires on. I’m not sure if it needs it for this little of a lift, but I don’t want to take a chance. Here’s a picture of the front installed. Right now the back is about 2” lower. I’ll post more pics when the truck is “complete”. (It’s never complete)
By the way, the front struts alone made a huge difference in the ride. It already rides way better than stock. I can’t wait to put the rears on and play with the adjustments.

    Me so far
Okay so here's a couple questions that I have been unable to find the answers to. I have a 2013 Tacoma 4x4 and I added the hockey puck 3" to the front and 2" blocks in the rear. Stock shocks and struts and I am Tired of feeling every pebble on the road and here in Tucson the roads suck. I want to order the rancho 9000's for the front and back. Here is the link...

    https://www.bilsteinlifts.com/shop/...OlAOKgqvS_SqCy4PFhimr1WEJO-OPO14aAnH6EALw_wcB

...I was wondering a couple things. First, Will they rub on my 285/75 R16's that I already have on there? I also have 1.25" spacers for a little clearance? Second, Do I need anything else to install them? Third, About how long will it take to install these? And last, Should I keep the rear 2" blocks in the back? I am NOT looking to go off road AT ALL. This is a street princess. Just looking for an amazing smooth ride and easy installation
