9th of next month? I can see myself having the Taco in decent working order in town before then... I'm going up this weekend and if I have the cash will fix all the belt/steering issues I can

There is no reason why there can't be a run on one of the loops on the 1st and the other on the 8th. I'm free both days since my son is at his moms this part of summer.

HF the 9th I feel will be a go. @Misplaced Nebraskan can you add an HF section on the next TnT post?

When are you guys doing a mod day? I need to be taught a whole bunch of things. Beer/liquor can be provided.

 

Best bunch on the forum in here . Not sure on a mod day but this is the place to arrange and request it.

 

And as far as the when/where - Cars & Coffee is held at the Oasis Restaurant on the 2'nd Sunday of every month. The event officially starts at like 9...but we tend to start to roll in around 0700 and set up camp / tables / coffee / food, etc.

[ Edit ] Unless you're @Phoosa , at which point...you're there at 0545, and actually DO set up camp / hammock, and the like.

 

And ATX is home to the one and only @ChadsPride

 

How about a trip over 337 and overnight in Leakey by the river? Float, grill, camp, beer. Everyone can do it.

Speaking of which do I need a cmc with 285's. What backspacing do I need to run that size tire? I'm not looking to regear but I want to eventually put 33's and maybe 35's is that ok?

Probably could get away with drop shackles and a 3" body lift. Would recommend at least 12" wide wheels. Oh, and a lightbar
