    Did a search but couldn't find anything. Haven't owned a Toyota truck in many years! Is there any special tooling I may need eventually. I'll be doing all my own work on it.

    Welcome to TW, what are you planning on doing o_O

    Shouldn't need anything special for basic mods.

    I'll be adding wheel to wheel nerf bars. As far as mods go. I was referring just to regular maintenance. Outside of warranty work. I've only taken my vehicles to a garage just 3-4 times and cringed at those. My last vehicle was a Jetta sport wagen TDI. It needed a few special tools.

    Some of the 'special' tools I've aquired since becoming a Tacoma owner ('07).

    Ball joint separators
    Scwaben spring compressor
    Hydraulic press
    Snap ring pliers
    Bushing removal/installation press tools
    Forged c-clamp

    My next two specialty tools;
    Techstream
    ECGS bearing tool
