Your best friend and easiest fix for a 2-3 months! Just every few months spray them down on a dry day!

I took my truck in to get my 20,000 mile maintenance a couple of weeks ago. While waiting, the service manager came out on his own accord and said that they had noticed my leaf springs were squeaking and that they would take a look at it. I told him not to worry about it at first. A couple of dealers, including this one, had looked at it and given me the standard line of power wash it and that should fix it. Which it would for a little while, and then the squeak would come back. But, the service manager said they might decide to change out the leaf springs under warranty. After they looked at it, they said that is what they wanted to do. I said sounds great. Took the truck in last week, they gave me a loaner, changed out the leaf springs, and then I picked it up in the evening. So far the leaf springs are nice and quiet. The test will be after I go off-road and get them dirty. That is when they started squeaking last time. The dealer is Cowboy Toyota in Dallas. Great service on this.

Careful with the overspray and Mist that comes off of this stuff if you've never used it before. It will get all over anything you want to keep clear and/or shiny and make a greasy cloudy mess! Just be aware of which way the wind is blowing and where that fine mist is going. It also smells like your grandmas ass cream.

Fluid filming my underside actually eventually caused some debris to collect between my leafs and cause squeaking. I'm leaving them dry for now, no squeaking. one of the few issues I DON'T have w/ my Taco :) and the tires are pretty good. ha
