I've always wanted to make on of these. And although mines is not as extensive as some of you guys it still gets the job done and as always is a work in progress. Ok lets start off with the list of mods:

Here's how she sits now in all her mall parking lot glory. Notice the 80's era Bronco in the background. The owner of that rig had one of the sweetest Hulk Hogan mullets I've seen in quite some time.

2.5 Toytech lift consisting of Bilsteen 5100's and add-a-leafs in the rear. I didn't want to go to big just because I like parking in my garage, plus I got a bad back and I have to lift two kids to put in the back seat almost everyday. Here she sits coming back from the shop to get everything installed. This is right before I was going to jump the train bridge to test out the new suspension.

Here's the wheels and tires I chose, actually I take that back, I had my wife pick out the wheels that way I could justify spending the extra money on em.

    I think their pretty sweet.

I also hooked up some KC lights, installed a grill craft grill while grilling hamburgers in the garage and getting grilled on cold beers, and installed a BAMF mount.

I know that the Light bars out now days put out more light than these, but where I grew up you have officially "made it" in life when you could afford KC lights on your pick-em-up truck. That's how people knew you've moved up a rung on the social economic latter I tell you what.

I also put some yellow fog light tint. This does not add anything to the horsepower or capability of the Tacoma but I think it looks pretty cool with HID cool blues and the green paint.

Then I had to add them there dually exhausts to the truck. If you ask why then please refer to the same reason I added KC lights up front. I think it looks pretty cool and has a more aggressive sound to it if your in to that thing. How does it sound you might ask? Well it sorta has that gnarly throaty tone that your best friends mom used to give off at the local watering hole during mating season. Sorta bad ass!

Here's a shot underneath showing the magnaflo and another side shot.

Your best friends moms mating call.

My custom fishing rod holder mod. It only takes minutes to complete. Step 1: open tailgate. Step 2: shove back in of fishing rod in already installed tie down. Step 3: drink a beer

    truck25.jpg

Had to get me one of them fancy bed covers. I never thought I'd need one but the wifey convinced me otherwise through squawking and hands on hips because she didn't want her stuff getting wet.

Actually here's what most people are interested in, the moon roof. I had installed through the dealership when I bought her new. I personally love it. It tilts up, slides back into the headliner, and I have it set up to when I shut off the engine it closes by itself. BTW's those trees from the mirror and patches are custom and do not come from the factory.

Pros: If you live in Colorado or someplace cool like that it works wonders. Closes by itself so if you forget you don't have to have a wet ass to remind you to close it again. Defiantly sets the mood when you got your lady friend in the truck as you stare up at the stars with the seats laid back.

Cons: You'll see in the next few pick that the motor for it does take up space in the back seat. So if you have tall people back there or your back there with your special lady friend "looking for your contact" it might get in your way. If not installed correctly it can leak water into the headliner. It's also not so useful if you reside closer to the equator like in EL Paso.

I had to install an "eyebrow" to keep the sun out of my eyes. One would think I could just use the sun visors but no they are useless on these trucks. They don't stay all the way up or all the way down. Also notice the flag decal, shorty antenna, and from the local car wash half eaten window visor.

Last but not least is my other project and money pit I'm always working on. Thanks for the gander guys and gals. Please keep the wheels spinning and the beavers grinning.

    Duderino out!
