Well, 20 service done, trans tsb Rev 1 done and now they are working on the a/c. Hopefully all goes well and it gets fixed today also. It's only been 36 hrs with no a/c and I forgot how bad it was my first 3 yrs in tx with out it. the heat isn't even that bad yet.

 

A grinder is the free tool on the 4 kit since it contians a recip already. I could do a battery in place of the grinder if you prefer. $449 for the kit

 

I would have to look at how much leave i have. And save up some money for the trip, i would need to set some money aside for probable repairs on a trip like that!

Yeah but if you keep your truck then you can spend all that 4runner money on truck mods! 2 months payment saved and you could probably get an SPod touchscreen!

Although, I usually like to encourage this sort of thing.... the 2wd skinny pedal approach would probably be a great way to end up IN mineral creek.

 

Well let me know. Would be great to have someone I know and trust going with me on the trip. I am planning a pretty damn good trip right now. Going to try and see about crashing at maybe some NM peeps driveways or CO driveways maybe to save some money.

RTT should work on the shell if it is a smaller tent. I would have to look up the weight rating as it has been a while, but I was not comfortable that it would hold a 3-4 person rtt and prinsu.

I still have contacts at several paint shops
