Looks like it, nobody complained about the early meetup time yet lol.

Come Friday we'll do a final confirmation of everyone that's going and what time we're meeting up

Haha... I remember that. Off camber near the top of that steep hill. That was a fun trip last year. I think another trip in early September this year would be awesome!

I've ran that same road! I know right where you're talking about. There was a wreck that closed the freeway and so I bailed onto the road and not to long after that, there were also cars stuck in the sand wash. And my winch happened to be "broken" that day.

Haha. There was like 5 cars stuck. Tried to help guys but they were fighting with each other the whole time and wouldn't listen to me. I'll help people anytime but I'm not digging your fucking car out if your perfectally capable of that, I'm just here to press the winch button. I dont help people that wont help themselves. Jumped in my truck and left those retards. Didn't feel bad about it one bit. They were walking distance from the highway so it's not like I'm some bad guy for leaving people in the middle of nowhwere.

yeah...finally got to hit the dunes for the first time and within 5 minutes I needed to get winched out of that spot, lol.

Was a good lesson in not hauling ass up a steep dune when you aren't sure what's on the other side...in all honesty I probably would have been fine just going straight down it, but I had a moment of panic and turned sideways along it to try and go back up, no bueno.

I'm right there with ya. Same type of thing happened last weekend while I was out wheeling in Utah. We came around the corner and there was a ATV stuck in snow drift in the middle of the trail. So I offered to help pull him out. He quickly snapped and told me they were getting it just fine before I got there. I walked back to my truck and then after 10 minutes of watching him fail to get this ATV out of the middle of the trail, i got out of the truck grabbed my winch line, hooked it up to the back of his ATV then said, "our blocking the goddamn trail. I gave you plenty of time to get out yourself. you are getting winched. you have no choice." He had to have been trying to get out of that spot for at least a half hour cause there were a group of people that were backed up on the trail. The snow was literally maybe a foot and a half deep...

Here's a little clip of the snow drifts we kept fighting up there in southern Idaho last weekend. It was insane how much snow is still up there. We didn't make it much further as it turned into 8-12 foot snow drifts and we would have continued winching all afternoon. This was after we just winched up about 150 yards

Just requested time off from August 31- Sept 4. My plan is to head up to Shaver Lake area and hit up the hard trails. Mirror Lake, Strawberry Lake, Swamp Lake. If I can get some brave souls committed we can run the Dusy Ershim Trail for the weekend. I would take one more day off for that one just in case.
Anyways just throwing this out there for those that may be interested. Im gonna start planning this. My trail runs will be strictly for armored 4x4s but may end up at camp sites accessible for 2wd.

Shit that's the week after I get back from my Telluride, CO trip. I might be able to make it out for Thursday-Sunday, depending on how busy work is. If it is slow at work then I can certainly make it out.

My truck has an airaid intake and I'm pretty sure I have the OEM one somewhere in the garage. Based off of everything that I have read here on TW, I am going to switch it back to OEM. For the filter itself, should I use OEM or is something else recommended?

The more I off-road with this truck the more the airaid intake scares me. I got carried away in some puddles at Cleghorn and some water was splashed pretty high. Luckily my intake filter didn't get wet but I don't want to risk it.
