I plan to put a 3inch lift on my trd sport 2016 taco. I will also move for bigger tires but I will probably stay with the trd sport 17inch wheels because I love it and for the budget too!! What do you think about that move guys ? Some of you stay with the OEM 17inch trd sport wheels with bigger tires/lift?

Ome or bilsteins with 285s if you have the money. Or a leveling kit and 265s if on a budget

It's your build man! Some do, most don't. But build it the way you like it!

I suggest keeping it 2" or less, it will cause less wear and tear on your driveline components, steering components, etc and potentially less headaches down the road.. I recommend the lift in my signature below. Also I recommend reading about tire fitment in my signature below. If you have specific suspension questions I'd ask them in the suspension subforum here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/suspension.18/

If you have specific wheel and tire questions I'd ask them in the wheel & tire subforum here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/wheels-tires.15/

Lift alone does not fit larger tires without rubbing.
