    Edit... NM just figured it out. And how to lock/unlock it. I'm good.

    assuming you have the
    $19 UV-5R VHF/UHF Dual Band Radio 144-148MHz 420-450MHz Transceiver
    UV-5R, look for a key icon. pressing that will either lock the frequencies or unlock them. after that just type the frequency in that you want to be on. then lock it. Also make sure that you have that channel selected since you have two you can choose between.

    The blue "A/B" button is to change channels. The key icon on the bottom right, if held down, will lock the radio so you can't adjust anything.
