Bedside decal part number or VIN

I'm trying to get a bedside decal from the dealer. I have a 2009 but I like the 2016-17 decals better. They say I need a VIN or part number because they can't look it up any other way. I want the TRD 4x4 Sport decal in matt black (no colors). Can anyone help me out? They look like this:



Backstory if anyone is interested: I bought an aftermarket 2016 decal on Amazon last year but had to have some body work done due to an accident last month. Now I need to replace the decal but they are no longer available on Amazon and the closest I found was a die cut decal but prefer the printed on clear vinyl one piece decal. The decal dimensions are 3" x 22".

My suggestion would be to walk their lot and find the decal you want on one of the new trucks they have for sale, then just give them the VIN from the truck on their lot so they can order it for you.

 

You won't get an all black decal from the dealer. That is custom made. I believe there is a user on here that can do that, don't recall his username at the moment.

It varies by paint color. There's a red & black one which is on white, beige, silver, maybe blue? There's also a black and dark grey/silver sticker. This I know is on the MGM. If that's what you're looking for @KeithB , use the vin from this listing:

They do look to be die cut. Were you looking for a complete vinyl with clear and black to avoid the peeling?

 

If you mean by "die cut", that the letters are individual....YES... that's the way they are.... They are NOT part of 1 big piece of sticky vinyl like the OEM's...

 

Thats it exactly. I'd like it to be one piece like oem. I've had one with individual letters and i prefer the one piece printed on clear background.

 

Not a fan of the OEM colors? I think the grey/white looks great on blazing blue.

 

These custom made decals are top notch, high quality. They will start peeling when your Taco is dead in a junkyard somewhere. I put some on my Taco and the look is so much cleaner and nicer than OEM. And you won't see them on other trucks.

I bought the matte black for my SSM Sport and they look awesome. Trust me, these things will not come off as long as you do the proper prep work and follow the instructions. @CBoy808 is the way to go if you want to support a forum member. Also, have fun getting the OEM sticker off.
