Hey there, i see there has yet to be a mod for this. I have the diagrams and will be tinkering with it this weekend. It is fairly easy mod. If it all works well I will post a DIY for you all.

Just wondering, why do you want your fogs on all the time? Or is that your intent?

Ya, get the headlight on with fog lights, but is OP's intent is no fog lights without headlights? Not available here, so just wondering what the intent is.

I can just turn my fog lights on or off whenever I want, what's the issue? and if I have them on and flick my high beams on then they shut off anyhow and by law I think they are supposed to do that?? every state I have lived in has this law...

Cool concept but unlike the 2nd gen you can turn them on without the headlights on and maintain functionality with hi/lo beams as well.

I like the idea. It would be cool to run fog lights separate and when high beams are on.

Checking in to see if you have had a moment to work on this mod write-up so that the fog lights remain on, even when you have your hi-beams running. Thanks

I found this one for a Gen2 fix, but not sure if it has changed much, https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/cheap-free-mods.4838/#post-45430

I believe, in most all states, it is against the law to have Fogs and Brights on at the same time. That's why they designed it that way.

G, It's not so much running them in tandem on the road, but more when I'm offroading, I like to have the benefit of the hi-beam throw/distance, but the benefit of seeing my immediate surroundings that the fog lights give and what is up ahead in the distance.

As drivers, we should be respectful of other drivers on the road, but as owners, we should have the option to modify our vehicles for our individual needs.

I did a mod to have the fog lights on with my high beams on a newer Camry with the same relay setup as our trucks...

I just used a relay harness (like one for the HID kits) and a simple diode from the +12V going to high beams to the input of the relay. Normally, fog lights are powered by the switch on the stalk. When you flip the high beams on, the +12V going to the high beams keeps the relay for the fogs tripped. Worked well and perfect factory integration. Just means the fog lights will always come on with the high beams, regardless of the switch position inside. Easy compromise to make.
