Is a spacer required to correct the driver side lean on leaf springs like the Deaver c66?
    Thanks

The 1/4" spacer goes on the front. No spacer on the rear.

    It looks good!

I assume your balljoints didn't explode yet? Any perceivable change in ride quality?

Ha! Nothing has exploded. Haven't really noticed any change in ride quality. It rides like a truck.

I will say I did get the differential vibes and have the ECGS bearing ready to be installed. I'm probably going to pull the pucks and go with either OME or Bilstein shocks with the 885 coils and something in the rear and do things right.

It looks how I like it. A little more level. Probably will bump up to the 275/70 17 Cooper S/T Maxx tires as well.

I purchased a Toytec boss lift kit for my 3rd gen DC sport in April. Haven't had any problems w/ it since it's awesome. The ride is a bit stiffer then stock but that's what I was expecting. Right now I'm running my stock rims/tires but thinking aftermarket rims w/ 32-33's or spacers on my stocks w/ 32-33s anyone running a 3inch lift w/ stocks and KO2s/etc. 32-33s? If so can you post pics.

    Thanks in advance

Better off getting 14" 700lb springs vs the 13" 600lb springs that ICON typically puts on their coilovers. You can keep the cranking down to an acceptable amount that way. With the amount of thread showing in this picture the ride quality has to be suffering.

@TOYTEC or anyone else. Could you offer up some advice on leaf packs? I have a 2016 DCLB TRDOR. About a year or so ago I installed an icon stage 1 kit with the addition of their add a leaf pack. For the most part I've been loving this setup. The truck is a daily driver but I take it on a few long trips a year that involve a lot of dirt roads. Either baja trips or trips up to the pacific northwest and canada.
The main issue I'm having is I feel like with the longbed and shell on Im starting to sag a bit in the back. Im a photographer and regularly load the truck up with about 500 lbs of equipment when heading to a job. With that load I definitely sag in the back. Long story short... would a dakar leaf pack be too much rear lift for me? Thanks!!

    Current setup
    icon stage 1
    icon progressive leaf pack
    factory control arms
    SCS 17" ray 10's
    BFG K02 265-70-R17

photo is loaded up for a trip with a light sleeping platform in the back

Just an FYI, the add a leafs decrease payload. I've heard people pull a leaf out of the dakar leaf pack to drop it down some if it's too high in the rear. The dakars are rated for more weight, but Toytec would be able give you specifics, or ARB, who makes the dakar packs.

Stock leaf packs even with an AAL cannot handle much payload. You need to look into a new leaf pack designed for a higher payload while maintaining a decent empty bed ride. Brands like Dakar, All Pro, and Deaver all make leaf packs for this. Or if you really want to dial it in, you can get custom leaf packs specific to what you want the bed to be able to handle. Alcan and Deaver will do custom sets.

Thanks @Gramps I figured thats the route i need to go. What would you recommend in my case? "Empty" I carry the snugtop shell, roughly 4 gallons of water, an ARB CKMP12 compressor, small toolkit, and a wooden sleeping platform made from 2- 2x6's and 3/4"ply. Im inclined to order the Dakar light duty springs. Would I need to replace my rear icons with extended travel versions as well as extended brake lines or would I most likely still fall within range of what I have? Thanks again for the help, wish someone had steered me in this direction when i first retooled the suspension..

If you're going to be doing relatively heavy off roading where your rear wheels will be articulating a lot you will need extended travel rear shocks and extended break lines. If not, you should be fine with your existing equipment.

I agree with this. The only thing to make sure is that you are also properly bump stopped so you do not use the shock as your bump stop. Are your factory bumps still in place?

Factory bump stops are still there. I'm not crawling anything where I would need to really stuff and articulate. I've certainly taken the truck to a few tricky places in Baja and Northern California but for the most part I'm dealing with washboard roads and moon dust sand down south. I'm going to give the new dakars a shot and if I decide I need to swap out the rear shocks it'll be a good excuse to upgrade to a remote reservoir shock. Think I need something larger than the factory bumps?

The Dakars do allow for more travel. Are you running 10" travel shocks now or 8"?

I believe I am running the 56503. I can find full specs on them anywhere online. If I need to swap out rear shocks too what would you recommend? Thanks for all the help
