Dude if you could tell me how to aim them, I'd love that. Turning the lower outside knob has adjusted up/down for me. How do you adjust left and right? I'm assuming the one near the top?

Yes the one at the top. The way I did it was waited tell night and used my garage door (closed) to determine the direction the lights were aiming (my drive way is on level ground). Up and down was easy, left and right was more challenging but just turn the knob one direction watching the wall/garage that you're using to determine what it's doing (moving left or right). Also make 100% sure the bulbs are seated correctly in the housings. If they're not it will throw off the beam pattern. Take your time and you'll get them where you want.

Hardest part is the one bolt on the underside, behind the fender. I used a 10mm racheting box wrench to get to it. Got both mine swapped out yesterday, took about an hour start to finish. Big improvement.

EDIT: It JUST started pouring, here's to hoping the extra silicone does the job!

The same depo lights mentioned in this thread are available in chrome. Keep in mind, you have to buy both sides, the price is for one side only.

I pulled the trigger. I'm thinking a marine grade sealant may be the way to go. Couldn't hurt, right?
Pro Tip: Wipe down the area your going to seal with rubbing alcohol.

Reporting back in. Unfortunately my Driver's side headlight has begun to have issues with condensation on the inside. I need to go back with some better high temp silicone as upon inspection I realized what I used has begun to deteriorate which I believe is what's causing the issues. With all the rains from Hurricane Harvey and the onslaught of humidity that set in after, I believe this is why they finally did this. Still happy with the headlights but now I definitely need to nip this issue before I have water spots etc develop on the inside of the lenses.

Put mine on 3 months ago. Recently noticed some fogging so I pulled them and noticed the silicone sealant had really degraded allowing moisture in. Re-sealed the shit out of it with a flex seal type sealant. Hope it's more durable. I was thinking plasti derp may be a good choice. I used that shit on the front bumper of another car, after 2 years no peeling or degrading. Plus being a spray and fairly liquid on application it could really get into the cracks.

went with a set of tyc nsf certified housings and so far so good. been in maybe a month now and been through many rains. it was really odd to see my truck with chrome lights instead of dull yellow lights.

    Questions:

Did you notice any major difference in the light output? I've heard the reflectors on these aftermarket assemblies are lacking. I don't want to lose any light output.

How hard was it to properly aim/align the beams?

What kind of silicone did you use. I see there's Permatex listed below but just curious.

I've been wanting to replace my old OE housings for a while as they are yellow and pretty ugly looking but other than paying for genuine OEM replacements ($$$), I've been wary of the "cheaper" alternatives.
