Thanks for all the advice everybody. Looks like the 3 leaf AAL is everyone's suggestion. Also, sorry for the delay response... been busy and haven't checked back on here!

Had some people suggest I should go with blocks in the rear (seeing as its cheaper and I don't do much off-roading). I've always heard that blocks are crap, especially if over 2" (which is what I'm wanting). Thoughts on that anybody?

I'd do a 3 leaf over a single leaf, the only real issue is the bottom leaf is a little short but not a big thing really...

Appreciate the offer, think I'm gonna go with the HS 3 Leaf.

Does anybody know the differences(if there are any) between the Icon 3-leaf, and the Headstrong 3-leaf?

I installed Deaver single leaf AAL on my 17 DCLB. Back went up exactly 2.25". I only have tonneau cover which is pretty light. And also you can expect any pack to settle down a bit over the time.

Good to hear because I just ordered my OME kit with 888 coils upfront with the Deaver single AAL as well. I don't do much hauling/towing and didn't want a block since it's frowned upon in the forums. Are you happy with the ride quality?

You will feel it going over speed bumps. Little stiff. Otherwise no problem. I don't know about OME struts but I did Bilstein 5100 at 0 and 887s. Truck has about .25" rake which was the goal( to maintain somewhat factory take). I think 888 is a bit longer spring.

Sharp looking truck. Have you had any driveline vibrations after your lift was done?

If you're not gonna haul much, you don't need more than an AAL. This is waaay better than running a block spacer and is still firm but compliant. I gained 2" in the rear and my truck is now level (no rake).

Pic is after lift installed before wheels/tires installed.

Single AAL--what brand would stand up the best over time and light hauling? Wheelers, icon, Ome?

This is exactly where I am at the moment. Been asking around to see if anyone has added a single AAL to the progressive pack to increase ride height and capacity. I'm still a ways from the full Dakar upgrade and have a new tent for a trip coming up. I need a practical, temporary solution that will get me thru Utah...

I've been very happy with my Icon 3leaf. Left the overload in and I was up over 2". I've put about 100k miles with lots of loads and towing and the whole pack still has a positive arch. I'm towing more now so I'm going to add a set of airbags and see if I can run the whole setup another 100k. Did ome 884's and ome shocks up front at the same time.

Any recent photos of your truck after running so many miles on your 3-leaf pack? I'm about to install the wheelers 3-leaf and I tow a camper 4-5 times a year...(front will be 5100's set to 1.75 with stock SR5 coils)

Man I’m sorry I’m bringing an old thread back but at least it’s still from 2017. How much much of a ride difference was it going from a single to the 3 leaf AAL? I’ve got the Deaver single 1.5-2” AAL and it’s pretty firm(also with OEM OL on) and I’m looking into the 3 leaf. Help me make up my mind. Please!

Rus, hows the ride with the OL still in? I’ve got the 5100’s with 885’s and added top plates and Deaver single AAL(with OL) and the ride is pretty rough. I tried just airing down my 10 ply tires some but that’s no help. Help?
