This morning I find some rat bastard(s) stole my 6 month old BFG T/A KO2 tire, OEM wheel and set the drum down on the pavement. This is a continuation from the night before where my pop-up camper tongue jack stripped out and I can't raise it enough to remove it from my ball hitch. So I had to park the truck and camper in the street. I hope the thieves die from spontaneous combustion aids...
Only shimmer of hope is my neighbor has a security camera pointing down the street and should have caught the shenanigans. He's going to review the footage when he gets home.

I'm sorry this happened to you. This is a truly egregious and intrusive straight-up VIOLATION on you. I'm flat sick of fucked up bad souls who probably have a strong sense that they're "entitled" to your hard-earned stuff.

    They took *one* wheel??

Sucks man. Been there. My home was broken into several years ago while we were camping on a long weekend. Several other homes were hit nearby too, so they cased the area for sure.

    wow that sucks

It's strange only one wheel was stolen. Maybe the four wheels were targeted, but the thief got disturbed so only took off with one.

Or it could be that it was only for the tire, so check for any local ad or pawn shop that sells a rim like yours

anyway, how did he defeat the lug nut that needs a key to unscrew?

This. My buddy did this to a ginger kid back in high school. We were watching his reaction in a nearby car.

That sucks man. Last year someone jacked my tailgate. All thieves should be rounded up and anal probed with a cactus limb.

Yeah...maybe someone is messing with him. We have company vehicle and one of my coworkers NEVER locked his doors. A another coworker buddy and I slipped out to one of his job sites. We took his radio out of the dash of his work van. We left laughing thinking he'd call one of us bitching about some low life stealing his radio. He never said a word. About a week later he had another radio in there. Finally had to ask about it. He bought another radio off eBay and didn't tell anyone afraid he'd get in trouble. He was PISSED!!

To the OP, I hope someone is messing with you. If not, I hope they catch the thieving bastards!!

Road tar might be gentler on the rotor/drum than a cinder block.

Yea but if ya put the block on the axle or shackle the rotor/drum doesnt need to rest on either.
