I miss living on the island, but I don't miss the traffic and tourists.

My low gas light just came on at 311 miles- matching my best, post lift. But this is with +250lbs or so from shell, t case skid, top overloads.

Hard to imagine the slightly bigger exhaust and/or removing rear cats make this kind of difference. :)

If you want a shell, now might be the time to jump on this one from me before I change my mind. Again. You can pay what I paid, PM me for that because I will post it for more in the FS sections.

Got it installed today and I am just not feeling it personally. It's a Leer 100R with a rear slider option, painted MGM.

Once you get the wheels and tires on, it won't look so much like an old man's truck and you'd be happier with it.

Getting those mounted and balanced on Monday, suspension swap on Wed/Thurs (soon as it gets here) then the wheels/tires will FINALLY go on. :D

Quite well. I am easily as mobile as pre -injuries, though my gait is shorter now, so I walk kind of slow.

    Who was your doc?

Dr. Porter did my initial surgery hip pinning.
3 months later avascular necrosis set in and Dr. Burnikel did the fhp.

    I'm about 99%

@JWL and I put his lift on I think not long after I was finally off crutches.

My folks had a dog years ago that had no femur (got broken when she was a pup) but had the rest of the leg. When she wanted attention, she'd limp (think drama queen). The rest of the time, she acted, walked and ran just fine.

    Pictures of the carnage

9 staples, who knows what's inside. I forgot to ask (probably wouldn't have been able to anyway) but I wanted the cut off piece of bone from his femur.

He is already trying to use that leg! We had him barricaded in the kitchen last night. At around 2:30 I heard him. He pushed the chairs out of the way, came over, pushed our bedroom door open, laid down in his usual spot. I said "you have got to be f ing kidding me" when I heard the chairs move.
