Man, there's never any cool shit like this around here, just about 92% mall crawlers, 6% of those who use their truck for hunting, and 2% of us who actually wheel.

Northwest Overland Rally in Washington.

There were definitely some mall crawlers in the bunch, but it didn't even matter. Every other vehicle was a Tacoma. Lots of Runners. Lots of Landcruisers . Hardly any FJs, surprisingly. Quite a few Jeeps and Lexus. Lots of random vehicles.

I was most impressed with the fact that everyone was so friendly. All the vendors were beyond happy to talk and answer questions for as long as you wanted to linger. Lots of free stuff too. I heard one negative thing about one of the bigger vendors later, but that was literally the only negative thing I heard the whole weekend.

I was too awestruck. I spent a lot of my time with your rig, though. That's gotta count for something, right?

 

When I win the lotto I'm gonna open up a 4x4 paradise...with a shop and everythang.

I wish NY had some love for overlanding/4 wheeling.

 

Orrrrrr move to the PNW! We're insanely Overlanding / fourwheeling / outdoorsy friendly!
